dc.description.abstract This paper sees a resumption of rapid economic growth through diversification and industrialisation as the most important contributor to the acceleration of employment creation in Botswana. The author attempts to draw lessons from growth policies from policy experiences in Eastern Asia. On the basis of such lessons, the paper suggests a number of practical policy steps with relevance to the policy debate in Botswana. en_US
